Gamora first appeared in the 1975 Strange Tales comics. When she was still a child, Thanos and his army wiped out half of the population of Gamora’s world. The fierce Titan took a liking to the girl and adopted her as his own child. With the help of cybernetic enhancements, Thanos turned Gamora into a living weapon.
Gamora first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and then in the 2017 sequel. She also appeared in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War. A strong female character with amazing abilities and a passion for justice, Gamora is a popular character that appears in many action figure toys and LEGO sets.
